The Department of Anaesthesiology provides anaesthesia and peri-operative care for surgical, orthopaedic and maternity procedures, with continuous monitoring before, during and after surgery.
Anaesthesiologists assess each patient beforehand to choose the safest option — general, regional or local — and manage pain relief and recovery once the procedure is complete.
