About
Dr. Birendra Bhagat is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Gynae-Oncologist specialising in advanced robotic and laparoscopic surgery for women's cancers. He completed his MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at PGIMER, Chandigarh, followed by a Fellowship in Gynaecologic Oncology, and previously practised as a consultant at Medanta — The Medicity, Gurugram. He treats the full range of women's cancers, from early cervical and endometrial disease to advanced ovarian cancer requiring major surgery, and is recognised as one of the first surgeons in Nepal to perform robotic gynaecological surgery independently. He is active in research and teaching, with work published in national and international journals.
