Prabhu Hospital Conducts Free Health Checkup for Women Police Personnel and Inmates
Birgunj: Prabhu Hospital Birgunj, in collaboration with the District Police Office, Parsa, conducted a free health checkup, consultation and awareness program for women police personnel and female inmates under the "Community-Police Partnership" program.
The program focused on women's health, providing health examinations, medical consultations, necessary medicines and guidance regarding further treatment.
Senior Gynecologist at Prabhu Hospital, Dr. Laxmi Thapa Gupta, provided health checkups and consultations to around 40 women police personnel and one female inmate.
The program also focused on raising awareness about various women's health issues, including uterine and cervical cancer, along with providing information on preventive care and timely treatment.
The program was attended by Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, Superintendent of Police, Parsa, as the chief guest. Coordinator Dilip Raj Karki and Deputy Superintendents of Police Chakra Bahadur Malla and Raju Karki were also present.
From Prabhu Hospital, Nursing Director Sarita Singh, radiographer Sanjit Sah and pharmacist Mikha Shrestha participated in the program. The event was facilitated by Police Inspector Soni Nimha Phuki of the District Police Office, Parsa.
According to the organizers, similar health programs will be continued in the coming days in coordination with specialist doctors to provide health checkups and healthcare services to police personnel working across the district
