Prabhu Hospital marks third Foundation Day with 50% OPD discount and awareness week

Prabhu Hospital, in Panitanki, Birgunj, announced a week of activities for its third Foundation Day, including tree planting, distribution of school supplies, awareness on cervical cancer and hormone imbalance, and a large blood-donation drive.

A 50% OPD discount was offered by specialty on set days of the week — neurology on Monday, orthopaedics on Tuesday, paediatrics and dentistry on Wednesday, internal medicine and cardiology on Thursday, and gynaecology and surgery on Friday.

Senior obstetrician and gynaecologist Dr. Laxmi Thapa said the awareness programmes on cervical cancer and hormone imbalance in women responded to a lack of public information on these subjects in Madhesh Province.
